I am soon in the same boat.

I am from Sweden (29 years old, woman). I just got a job in Zurich and need to start as of August 1.

I am looking for place to live. For a start I had in mind something simple, a room in shared flat or furnished studio with rent up to max 1000 CHF.

In the long run, I would like to buy a flat (I believe that it is better solution).

Any advices?

Plus, I will also need a friends.
