My friend just had a small accident...
He was hit by the car behind while he was turning left...
So it was fully the other car's fault...

However, we called both the garage and the insurrance company, they told us different procedures concerning the repairing payment.

According to the insurance company, we do not need to pay anything. We simply go to the garage and give them a reference number (already given by the insurance company). Then the garage should repair my friend's car and get paid later by the insurance company.

But the garage requires a deposit of CHF 1000. They say it will be refund after they get paid by insurance.

So, should he pay CHF 1000 from his own pocket as deposit??
