Starting residential address for self-employed

Hello again!

I'm an EU-national about to apply for residence in Zug to be self-employed. I've discussed the procedure with the Economic Promotion people and they were very helpful and assure me that it's very straightforward. However I have one chicken-and-egg sort of problem.

To apply for a self-employment B-permit I first have to enter my trading name "John Smith Enterprises" into the commercial register, and the commercial register requires me to supply a Zug address where they can send mail to me. The problem is that I have no fixed address in Zug yet and I'm very reluctant to sign a lease before my permit is actually approved (and the fact that it's hard to find a place at short notice). I haven't yet established the exact requirements of this address but my impression is that it should be either a home or an office.

Does anyone have a tip on how to acquire a suitable address at short notice (days/weeks)? I would be glad to know!

And if anyone would care to offer advice and/or commiserations in exchange for beer I'd be happy to supply the latter at Mr. Pickwick's after work tonight. Leave a note here or call +46 701 040 041 if you're up for it!
