If you search through all the threads on the EF with key word "South Africa" you will find lots of entires. I would also look for social events in calendar. There might be not to many but it's better than nothing...

I am quite revived after lekker three-week long visit back to SA (JHB, PTA) especially after seeing my all good folks at braais with brandy and Castle. Lots of ongoing construction for WC2010 and digging for Gautrain along N1 in vicinity of Centurion and Midrand made me wonder hey. Lots of new shopping malls grow like mushrooms after rain...

Even Zim has improved tremendously with variety of food stocked shelves.
