Re: Swiss Tax Accountant (Treuhand) With Knowledge of Irish Tax System

Well, I got no responses here.

I went with a acquaintance's recommendation. At an initial meeting, he claimed to know the Irish system, and was able to answer my question about the most difficult item I had to reconcile.

I thought he was expensive at 900 and made one mistake that would have made a big difference to the final bill, which I had to point out. I'm told accountants bills can be so if there is more than a couple hours work involved. Although, having to proof-read his work, cost me time.

I don't have enough experience here to say whether he is worth recommending, but he will host an initial consultation for free. I can give you his details by PM.

(By the way, if you could post your experience here, it would help me and future users.)
