You can definitely change the address on your account to Switzerland (Done it myself) Nationwide (and many other banks) will not allow you to do e-banking outside the country where the bank has it's HQ (UK in this case). It's in the small print. Most bank clerks however do not know this rule. Presumably they don't get exposed to too many expats. QED they seem to not follow this rule up, if you already subscribe to e-banking when you move. So as said before, make sure you have e-banking up and working before telling them you have moved to Switzerland. With luck you'll keep the facility.
