Your story is a bit strange, what were you doing in Europe? YOu said you were doing some work in Switzerland, that is really vague, what were you doing?
I feel sorry for your situation but I also believe that if it is true that you have been a frequent flyer for the last 10 years, you could have obviously been more prepared!
