Guys, here's another venue that you all may want to consider for the weekend drinks.

Its a 2 week old bar called 'Devi's Pearl bar' opposite Bahnhof Wiedikon tram station, next door to McGees. Website isnt even up yet. Cosy and stunning decor. Felt like I was in the house of a friend with excellent taste.

Was almost empty when we checked it out last night but I think its down to the fact that its a new bar and a Thursday night - and most of the action was happening next door at McGees. Had a two piece live band who are friends of the owner. Was that informal that they wanted to drag some of us up on stage and do a number.

Official opening's next Friday - snacks provided, in case anyone's interested.
Just confirmed: opening is this Friday 6th Nov, from 19:00. There will be live music and food from a TV cook. They've been open about 2 weeks and plan to have live music twice a week or so. The owner is happy to have a crowd of English speaking foreigners turn up. See you Friday?
