Hi All,
I'm moving to Switzerland by 1st of July, but my family will just get there one month later (around 1st August).

I have some concerns regarding the health insurance for them, because my current employer will cancel the policy in my home country when I will be leaving... Therefor thy will not have be covered for the current insurance.

Any idea whether the Swiss health insurance will cover them during that month? I read the health policy start to be effective the day they "enter" to Switzerland

Is it easy to claim expenses done abroad?
