Huh? Could be he works, could be wherever Miss Exotic lives is not super, could be it's an internet affair... it could be anything!
I am not saying it couldn't be anything, but I would be concerned. Everytime, I have seen this situation, my initial surmise is correct.

If it is real then your suggestion of moving will sort out the details. If it is not then the girlfriend suggesting that she move will take care of things very quickly. Proximity definitely sorts things out.

That's what happened twenty two years ago when my then girlfriend moved over to the States to be with me. It was the right thing to do.
Life is definitely too short. No excuses.
