It is! unless DELL told me bullocks... my Lithion battery came with specific instructions of charging it over 12 hours the first time, while not using the laptop, at all.
This is because it will lower the maximum capacity of the battery...
Apparently you also need to completely uncharge it, then full recharge 2-3 times.
Then it says you need to avoid leaving it going lower than 20% full capacity, although its different info ???
