Hi there,
I was forced to move out from Germany to Switzerland because my former company branch was closed due to financial crisis.
I am regretting with all my soul this move to Switzerland and if i would have again opportunity to get back, i would move there stright forward!
Definetly, DE is cheaper than CH and the Cost of living is better there: for instance for a family with one small child(1year) i was able to save arround 1500Euro per month when i had a salary of 2700euro.
So, my opinion is go to Germany and dont look back.
