If you don't have any luck from folks on the forum, make sure that you check out the Armée du Salut (Salvation Army) on Rue de la Borde, just up from Place du Tunnel in Lausanne. They have one section where you'll find all of the kitchenwares, and much else, and on the other side of the building is the entrance to the furniture section.
