| actually it could be DNS TTL thus not needing lookup.....but this certainly is down to your connection quality, I'd say. Your router should be set to DHCP an IP address from Cablecom (which it seems to be doing) and that's how it should be set (and likely is out-of-the-box). | |

no DNS caching occurs in the router or PC, and since some sites (like google) work and others don't then the problem is further up the line. Trust me...
