This is true, but being able to say 500m to the south east of Schwarzhorn at an altitude of 2300m will still get them there just as fast.
Thats me being pedantic though.

I agree that they can be a useful tool in emergencies. Its just a lot of people now are dependent on them and actually creating danger for themselves in my opinion.
