For learning, Flumserberg has good facilities, good access to instructors and ski rental, and plenty of places to eat and drink. The pistes are well prepared, and there is a good variety of slope for beginners that will allow you to develope, in an area that you know. So for those reasons, together with it's ease of access, it does get very busy. Saturday morning would be my tip, as it's changeover day for folks starting/leaving ski holidays, and the Zurchers are doing the domestic things so it tends to be a little quieter.
Hi,

I have been once in Flumserberg and indeed it had good facilities to learn ski. But I am thinking to go and stay one week in Zermatt and learn ski. Is Zermatt as good as Flumserberg for learning ski ? Or what piste would you recommend the most for learning ski (location doesn't matter)?
