Re: Daycare/nursery around Uetikon am See

Hi

We will move to an appartment in Uetikon am See in the new year and are interested in any recommendation for bilingual kinderkrippe (or whatever is the equivalent of UK nursery) for our 3 year old.

He went to the local nursery 2 mornings per week in the UK and we're looking for a similar arrangement here - although not sure if you can do half days here or must be full days ?

Any pointers appreciated.

Regards
Keith
There are Geiminde-run Kinderkrippes as well as private ones though not sure of there is one in Uetikon.
The Geimnde ones are usually a little cheaper than private ones (but it depends on what you earn).

You can do half or full days in choose how many days you want to do per week arranged in advance.
They can have long waiting lists though.

Personally, I'd put your child in a local-speaking one. He shouldn't have a problem and will really benefit from it. Ours did.
