| Actually high heels work well in snow and ice. The extra lb per inch on the heel helps cut through the ice and acts like a grip, while the extra high keeps most of the foot off the snow/ice and so helps it stay warm. Also I was always told that if you take care of the extremities the core takes care if itself.. Most heat is lost through the head so if a girl has a hat but a bare midriff she is still warmer than those without a hat. | |
