With the Swiss process, if they tell you it will be a certain length of time, you can be pretty sure it will be close to that length of time. They are efficient.

Hi I am Australian and have been granted a temporary work permit for 2 years only (not even an L permit). Do you know if this can be extended? They have never sent me anything with my photo on it which I think is a bit strange and I have been her a year already. All I have is a bit of paper saying I can stay 2 years.. but it is not really ID. My boss says its impossible to get this visa extended, but I wondered what you know about it..?
