| Re: any interest in 'Investing 101" ??
As I believe most of you found Dino's seminar interesting I thought that I would post this here as we are organising a series of presentations with a variety of proffessional asset managers which I thought you may be interested in attending. This presentation is in Basel on Tuesday 9th Feb 2010 at a location to be confirmed (This depends on interest and numbers)
The asset manager in question was started 1991 as pioneers of fee-only fund management and remain one of the few to pass on institutional dealing terms to private clients. They were one of the first firms to embrace open architecture and give private clients full exposure to a range of leading investment managers and strategies and remain one of the few to genuinely individually manage portfolios.
The company is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority to provide a range of investment services in the UK and Europe
The business has grown rapidly on the basis of strong investment performance and client retention.
Funds under management have grown from £370 million to £1632 million over the last 4 years.
The theme for the seminar is:
"Managing portfolio's in turbulent markets" and there will be an open question and answer session at the end.
If there is an interest we can organise something for the members of the forum who would be interested, I have not mentioned the asset managers name as I am not sure that I am allowed to?
