I am totally aware of this. However, you don't need to speak German to get a job in Switzerland !!! It would help of course, I'm Swiss and my mothertongue's French, I used to understand German but not any more, if you don't use it, you lose it ! And here I am working in French and English, even with Germany I speak English.
Korean people are really into studies and learning French doesn't scare her at all !
Don't worry, she already knows the truth.
