Cabin crew strike ballot - dates announced
Unite, the trade union that represents British Airways’ (BA's) cabin crew, announced on 14 December 2009 that its strike ballot closed with a vote in favour of industrial action between 22 December 2009 and 2 January 2010.
We would like to reassure our customers that all of our flights are continuing to operate as normal at this time.
We are currently reworking our flight schedules for the strike period and aim to announce them as quickly as possible. Our intention is to inform affected customers directly if we have their e-mail address or by SMS text if we have their mobile phone number.
We will use the contact details supplied at the time of booking, so we ask customers to please ensure these are correct and up-to-date:

We have issued guidelines for customers booked to travel between these dates.
Please note: BA London City services (except our business class only London City – New York flights) are operated by our fully owned subsidiary BA CityFlyer. These cabin crew were not part of the ballot so BA CityFlyer's operation is not affected.
Openskies, codeshare and franchise flights will also continue to operate normally.
