For once, thank-you for resurrecting an old thread. That was a great read. The car park under Basel University Hospital is a nuclear bunker, and has pretty impressive blast doors.
Back in 1999, I spent the night (about 3 hours
plus half a bottle of whisky
) with my son's scout troup (and a few others) in the e
x-secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch, near Basildon, England. Quite disturbing it was too.
