| I don't get why partners of people who have come over here moan, you have a perfect opportunity to learn something new, do all the things you ever wanted to do but didn't have the time, learn a new language, get fit, start your own business etc etc etc, instead you moan about being bored, and missing your friends and family (er webcam and skype??) and just wasting a once in a lifetime experience. | |

100% agree, but then I suspect that many people who come here indeed aren't like that, that they don't cherish, but fear opportunites and change.
They try to reproduce their old lifestyle asap and don't create a new life.
I can't live without change and new challenges, that's probably why I often groan at silly or ignorant complaints, as I don't understand their mindset.
