I use it for about 30 mins each morning. The new one, Wii Fit Plus gives you an option to work on specific areas or aspects of fitness, so it is quite good. However, it is suggested that you use it alongside other ways of keeping fit as you cannot just rely on the Wii to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Definitely worth a try though, and it's good fun for parties!
