My favorite iPhone 3GS apps:

Star Walk: http://vitotechnology.com/star-walk.html Point it towards the sky, and thanks to GPS, it will tell you what you are looking at!

Sports Tap: gives you live results from sports

System: gives you information on iPhone cpu, memory usage.

NASA: gives you information on NASA activities
