hey there

i m in the exact same situation as you are. we moved here from Budapest com my boyfriend got a job here. we re here since June but i haven t managed to find anything yet. manpower said they could not help even with 2 degrees cos i don t speak german. i would really need a job to be able to pay for language course so it s a vicious circle.
when did u come here? where are you looking for jobs?
i sometimes think i m the only person who has this problem but i had to realize it s quite common around here. it s abig dilemma to decide weather to try more here or go back home, i m not sure how long i can wait but at the same time i could see myself living here happily if i got and job and would get to know some nice people.. :-)
cheers, Laci
Yeah forget manpower, they're a bunch of crooks. As a matter of fact I dislike all those job agencies. I believe the best method to finding a job is connections. I believe that many people in this forum are or have been employed because of somebody the knew. All I can say, keep your head up, be patient and don't give up. Eventually a job offer will come thru.
