| i have a 360 but rarely use it these days as i find it so damn noisy. i have a ps3 too and im happy with that for my gaming, media, blu ray needs.
i still think the xbox has a great online service, but i cancelled my xbox live membership because i think 90 chf is too much when sonys service is free (and works well enough for me). | |

I'm definitely not getting Live Gold, local multiplayer is good enough for me. But that's what kept me away from the 360 for the longest time, all the hidden costs (as well as the hardware problems). Having to pay for online, or for a wi-fi adapter if your TV is too far away, or for expensive proprietary hard drives. The 360 really isn't cheaper than the PS3, especially if you're buying it for yourself.
