Goldau is also well-known for its 'Tierpark' (Zoo) on the Site of the 'mountain slide' which wiped out the village in 1806. A new area for bears and wolves has been added to the zoo and this part opened last year.

and from the station in Goldau, you can go by train to Lucern. (on-topic now??)
