I still think going out for Whiskey's pee/poo is the best practice. The Lab pup whined in the cold last winter but she knew she and I were staying out till she finished her business. Soon enough she was going efficiently to a perforated manhold cover to tinkle through and poo-ed in a gutter (where guide dogs are supposed to do it). And then she couldn't run fast enough back to our warm home.  | |

I happen to agree with you but i cant handle the cold weather. Hence the other options
