After two weeks of permit processing. Authorities have reverted stating that the quota for non-eu in the canton of Zurich has been exhausted. This is bad news. After this news, my team has decided to go with the 4 month permit ( No quota here) . Is it possible to renew this permit or is one allowed to apply for a new 4 month permit on expiry?. Can we go ahead and apply for the L-Permit from Zurich ( While on a 4 month permit) once the authorities increase the quota by june( Not sure !! ). Would really appreciate your thoughts. I thought L permits had no quotas for EU or non EU. Anyone could get it anytime. Or not ?
