| While I do not agree with many views on this rather right winged article, some measurable facts it states are simply true on immigration in Germany: It should theoretically not be too difficult to attract educated people to immigrate and there are some real success stories of for example Vietnamese that immigrated to communist Eastern Germany in the 80s and their children are by now exceeding German kids in the education system. But thanks to some failed policies the ones that were allowed to come were far too often the ones that did not have any education and were attracted by the social insurances rather than the opportunity to work. In short: the government allowed people to come in who did not manage their life elsewhere. | |

Interesting..thanks for the article. So i guess the failed policies came in much after the Vietnamese success stories.
