| With the amount of tax she would have paid, "they" (idiots from government), should have let her in.
But they prefer to be "humans, nice, friendly, etc..." and let in illegal people from africa, or romanians (cf. news on Migrants selling drugs on Lausanne city center, and beggars on lausanne city center: both are in the good "eyes" of the government and get favors, even being illegal).
At some point they will have to decide either to let anyone in to be fair, or to adopt clever migration control (ie. it's a society with values, pros and cons, not a place for professional beggars or drug dealers). | |

This is total crap, my friend.
Those professional beggars, who by the way are gypsies from Eastern Europe (and yes, some of them are from Romania too), don't get anything from the Government, except some help from the NGOs. They come as "tourists" and probably send back to their countries of origin, as soon as the authorities can do that.
The labour market situation is bad enough, so please don't inflame people here with false info.
As a Romanian national I went through the same process as everybody else for having my work permit (L type). I'd say the worst part was not this process itself, but the getting-a-job part.
