I know you are called "Britshop" and you generally stock products which many non-brits aren't interested in - but have you considered also offerring those "essentials" from other countries where expats come from (SA, Oz, US, Canada etc). Obviously sourcing them may be a pain - but if you teamed up with an interested party who wanted to handle the sourcing of the products it might work out?
