Indeed I agree. I was just admitting my 'despair' to you guys, coz you´re not my potential employers .

Coming from New Zealand where things are so much less regulated (An@l?) (and noone requests snail mail apps anymore ), it´s taking a real mind shift to get used to the ettiquette here.

I´ll press on with the snail mail approach for now and see. Either way it won´t be a huge deal if it doesn´t work... Thinking positively - it has at least been a good learning curve.
