You know where to get brown sugar? There was a hoard of people wandering around Globus and Jemoli searching for brown sugar around Thanksgiving time.
Cheddar Cheese, both Globus and Jemoli have it, although I think the cheddar you get from the cheese counter at Coop is better. The El Maiz (Mexican store on Josefstrasse in Zurich) has really good preshredded cheddar cheese that is delicious for quesadillas.
But yes, good idea. Much better than searching the forum for individual food items.

| I've been thinking about making a little webpage (wiki???) that would list where to find various food items that are hard to find here. Things like cheddar cheese, baking chocolate, brown sugar, etc. I've got my own list but I bet if we compiled all our 'finds' it would be pretty comprehensive! Thoughts? contributions?
