To add my voice - you really should get insurance before hand. If there are any problems at birth then these will not be covered by your insurance (this is how my insurance guy explained it).

By having the insurance before birth you avoid such problems.

You also don't have to pay anything to set it up. You only start paying from the month of birth and as Not All There said it is so cheap as to next to nothing.
