Re: Snow sports 2009-10

Visited Brigels this weekend.
A bit far away from zurich, 4 chairlifts and 2 T-bars, overall a bit flatter than Elm (the black slope was closed), but whoa, I haven't seen such wide slopes and so few people on a gorgeous sunny saturday. Excellent riding. Also, huge fields off-piste, I'm sure it is a great easy freeride resort after major snowfalls. Also, it had a timed race course set available to general public (for everyone with a collection of 1-franc coins), which is a good fun, and it is the first time I see such in Swiss resorts.

Highly recommended.
The resort is south-exposed, so on warmer days expect slush in the lower sections.
It doesn't have snow'n'rail, but there are day skipasses available at Aldi for CHF43.
