Does anyone understand the Hilfsblatt A für Selbständigerwerbende? I'm trying to do this for the first time with an Einzelfirma using the free ZH software and it appears to calculate my Einkünfte aus selbständiger Erwerstätigkeit as Reingewinn + Aufrechnungen (AHV Beiträge, private Versicherungsprämien, etc.) - Abzüge.

Surely I don't ADD my business profit to my personal expenses to calculate my total income...?

My German is not great so I'm sure I'm misunderstanding something...
