You don;t need to pay for this if you don't want it - we don't.

We consistently get the advertised speeds.

Cablecom does, however, have other 'issues' but I think they're responding to the deluge of complaints.

Today, I got official confirmation for Cable internet in Lausanne:

You need to pay the extra tv fee for having Internet with them. because this is a bit like "phone line of 25.5chf": you need to pay the line for getting internet, and with that line you already get TV.

Sounds not right but thats the only solution!

In the contract, part 3 of general conditions:
(In french, Suisse Romande)

"point 3. de nos conditions générales : « l’accès Internet est indissociable du raccordement et de l’abonnement au téléréseau, dont le coût n’est pas compris dans l’abonnement. » "

Translation:
blabla pay more, pay for tv line even if you dont need to, or you wont get internet with us. Therefore pay additional 26chf fee on top of internet fee.
Thanks for paying to us.
