Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

The movie was OK. My feelings were very similar to Avatar, great 3D sequences, wonderful background and mood. Unfortunately, Alice didn't have a plot worthy even for a 5 year old. Mr. Depp done good as did the Alice character, Helena played the Queen of Hearts like Queen Elizabeth from the second Blackadder series IMO and should pay royalties to Ben Elton and co. A decent flick, worth seeing in 3D, but I wouldn't bust a gut to make too much of an effort to catch it, it's so Narnia, Edward Scissorhands with a smattering of overbearing Disney production. Apart from the rabbits and hedgehogs, the nasty animals were all rejects from Lord of the Rings or The Golden Compass, shame, it could have been better.
