Unfortunately I'm not good enough to be a powder junkie yet but there were plenty seemingly enjoying themselves in Hasliberg today. Nice enough on piste but all the higher lifts were closed due to the winds with one only opening for a short while late morning.
It explained why it was so quiet in the valley. Mental note to next time check all aspects of the weather and resort before going on the basis of 'there was snow and it looks clear on the webcam'  . | |

It's in Central Switzerland and technically, it's not actually a ski resort. There are no pistes prepared and there isn't a proper lift as you'd know them in a ski resort. Its also about a good 20min hike from the anything that resembles civilisation.
