| What an odd statement.
There was also no benefit to anyone voting yes on Sunday either.
Off course it was going to cost somebody something. I certainly haven't come accross solicitors working for nothing as yet;infact there costs are astronimcal for what they appear to give in my opinion and seem to work on the basis that they have qualifications and can therefore justify their fees.
The amount of effort to vote NO or YES was exactly the same unless you mean that YES has three letters and NO has only two letters. | |

Let me reiterate then. As 90x% of the population isn't about to be affected by animal legal rights, they weren't bothered to vote yes and as we all know, voters tend to be conservative here and lean towards no in the first instance. Legal fees created by one party taking issue with another will of course affect the losing side, but again that's not going to affect Joe Public. Unless you actually keep animals in lousy conditions and have gotten away with it for years, the result of this referendum was not going to be a big deal for you. Hope that clears up the previous statement.
