i know i really should be sleeping...

but if we start deciding who should have puppies and who shouldn't, i'm sure my boogie down behind would've been voted off the baby island!

seriously, and as a teacher here and there- some of the people who would've been serious baby making material on paper had severe parenting problems.

but- one idea is mandatory parenting skills classes. but how do you implement that shyte? it's a slippery slope- and i choose to have my baby to equalize the ratio of crazies to non-crazies. hopefully it'll work out positively for you lot!

seriously though, i agree the parents of the school should've been notified before.

last year a little girl in my son's class died, different circumstances but we were all told right when it happened and they provided counseling, in class discussions, etc. we were able to be there for the family and offer what we could, i'm sure it made it easier for them...it definitely made it better for my boy.
