i am finding opportunities and am doing quite well (final cut etc.) - but always seem to be "just" missing out . I have even been offered a position (but this was just retracted due to funding cuts
). My main point is that I am not getting ahead in the no-career-stability-oh-my-god-what-happened-to-the-funding-rollercoaster that is science. So, I would like to find out what an applied physicist with a PhD in atmospheric sciences/nanoparticles and a few years research experience can do outside of a Uni/Research Institute
