| Deduct whatever you can, house office, car, meals out (try to go during the week) petrol, (try to fill up during the week). In fact get used to living in the week and having quiet weekends as expenses during weekend can be frowned on a little. Unless of course you can give good reasons as why you operate over the weekend.
Once the going gets tough, and it will for a period, the tax bills still come in, so by reduing your tax bill via deductions, you help yourself.
Get an accountant to do your tax returns as soon as feasible, whatver they cost you save by reducing your tax liability. | |

Hi Charlie and thanks for the tip. Since my business is small I am not tax liable until I start making 75000 CHF in profit (I also read that from the official TAX webpage so I should not worry about it.
I will try to deduct about 15% of my rent since I use only one room in the house where I will store and display the stuff.
I have an accountant doing my taxes already for this year and I will contact him for next year as well. I am very excited, I get my first batch of goods the first week of April....
