Re: GmbH requirements.

Greetings EF-ers,

I am helping a friend organize a business here in Switzerland and could use your input.

I've gathered the basics of an AG and a GmbH but need help figurng out the below:

1. This is a financial services-related business, a small-holding company. I've heard there may be a requirement to organize as an AG? Any one know of this requirement? BTW, if you know where I can find on-line English versions of the Swiss business laws, please advise.

2. Where to find and file the necessary forms (assumng Canton Zurich) and filing in the commercial registry.

3. Other requirements: social insurance, bank accounts, and anything else I may be unaware of.

I would like to help out as much as possible. Also, if you can recommend an attorney in Zurich who can eventually take over, that would help too.

Thanks very much for your feedback.
