My husband was pulled over sunday by an un marked police car.. a BMW. Reason? I still have my Florida plates, and usually get stopped at the borders.. no problem, I expect that. They just had a light in the window said "STOP".

My Question, Being from florida, there is a number you can call if your being pulled over by an unmarked car. It's #777. This gets you immediately to Highway patrol, and you can tell them your being summoned to pull over by an un marked car, and they will verify a yes or no. The reason for this is past murders on women and couples being pulled over not by police, and the bad guy had the similar lights. This is a safety thing.

If I were to get pulled over, I would be afraid to stop, unless in a city or town, but in the farmlands, I would like to know if there is a number I could call for my safety, prior to actually pulling over, that would reach police to verify it is a valid stop.

Once I receive my B permit, I can solve this problem with my tags. Still waiting.

if anyone knows of such a number "if it even exists here" please inform. Would be good for all people to know. Not sure if this is the kind of thing that goes on over here, but would be nice to be informed anyway.
