How wide are they and what is radius of your carving skiis, if I may ask? I think strong legs and technique will play more important role than type of skiis used. Having said that I wouldn't take my other Salomon racers 103V which have narrow and sharp tips. Prefferably twin-tips for free-riding would do the job
