Is it True that in Switzerland after 10pm you're not aloud to make noise of any sort? If you do?

Please clear me up on this situation xDD

Basically, in most places in Switzerland the general rule is that you do not make "noise" between 12.30 and 14.00 and between 22.00 and 06.00 . What exactly is noise depends on the neighbourhood etc. To make techno music, to use trumpets and saxophones and drums at these times is not the way, neither are full baths. To take a shower however is alright as well as to use the toilet. To nail a dozen pictures onto the wall however is not. To make your laundry at that time may be wrong, except the ground floor consists of shops.

-- flushing the toilet could result in a nasty letter and a party carrying on till the wee hours may result in a knock on the door from the boys and girls in blue. But not in every block.
No, flushing the toilets is no problem in most places, really NONE. Parties continued into the weewee hours however CAN result in severe problems

Hey, that is true. I've had problems with that.
After 2 or 3 weeks leaving in Switzerland, I got a hand-written message in my post box, from one of my neighbors, saying that I was not supposed to take shower after 10 pm and in case I continue doing that, he/she would complain directly to the owner and this could end up with a severe fine.
I don't know how much it would have costed me but since then I make sure I take shower before 10pm.
beside the point that such neighbours occur, you might check the browser of your shower as well. Modern browsers only are half as loud as old stuff, and are much better. I just a few months ago purchased a new one, much less noisy and far more comfortable !
